My boyfriend & I stopped here on our way to the East Point lighthouse. The tour was given by a lovely woman named Doris who led us through the beautiful, old Edward Compton house. She talked about the history of the house & the Mauricetown area. We love NJ history, so found the tour very interesting.Doris and the other ladies invited us to their Holiday Tour, but unfortunately we won't be able to make it-maybe next year!
